iPhone 14 Pro и iPhone 14 Pro Max

Design:

The new iPhone 14 Pro is generally similar to the iPhone 13 Pro. Flat edges of the case, on/off, volume buttons. The location of the cameras remains the same. There are 3 large lenses and a LIDAR sensor.

Differences from 13 Pro:

- All cameras are bigger in size. The camera block protrudes 0.25 mm more than on the 13 Pro.

- Instead of the usual “bangs” at the top of the display, there is a “Dynamic Island” pill-shaped cutout for the front camera and Face-ID sensor. The neckline takes up 30% less space than the usual bangs. Now various notifications and animations appear from this cutout, which, in our opinion, looks very beautiful.

Camera:

The main camera of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max received 48 megapixels. The iPhone 13 Pro had only 12 MP. The manufacturer claims that the quality of the new camera is comparable to professional film cameras. Cameras now capture twice more light and perform better in low light. 2x Telephoto mode has been added for taking photos, which is much better than the previous zoom of the iPhone 13 Pro line.

Steel case:

The case of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max is made of stainless surgical steel.

CPU:

TSMC's new A16 processor is based on a 4 nm process technology.

In a word, apps will run 40% faster and graphics will be 30% faster than the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14, as the "younger" iPhone line will retain the old A15 processor.

RAM:

No change - 6 GB of RAM.

Display:

OLED LTPO display, diagonal - 6.1 and 6.7 inches. No change from 13 Pro. The Always on Display feature is available to conserve battery power. The display is 2 times brighter, which allows you to see the image better in sunny weather.

The display is protected by a ceramic shield using Ceramic Shield technology.

Wi-Fi, 5G:

The modem in the new smartphone is the 5G module Snapdragon X65 from Qualcomm. This modem is unique, as it supports a 10-gigabit data link.

The new Wi-Fi 6E standard allows the use of the 6 GHz band, which increases Wi-Fi speed.

Lightning:

Without changes. The introduction of the more versatile USB Type-C has been delayed for now.

Battery:

The battery capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro has grown to 3200 mAh. The previous generation of the battery was 3095 mAh.

Memory size:

Water and dust protection:

IP68 protection. This includes protection against splashes, dust and water while maintaining performance when submerged to a depth of 6 meters for up to 30 minutes. No change from the previous generation.

Apple Watch Pro

The Pro version of Apple Watch will get a larger and more durable case. The size of the new watch: 49mm.

Airpods Pro 2

Improved sound quality thanks to a pair of new speakers.

The updated filling will increase the efficiency of the noise reduction mode by 2 times.

Extended battery life. With LE Audio, the new Airpods will be able to run up to 6 hours of noise canceling without a case, and up to 30 hours with a case.

The touchpad on the headphone case allows you to adjust the playback volume with a swipe.

iPhone 14 и iPhone 14 Max

The design of the novelty is not much different from previous iPhones. All the same chopped edges of the case, the levers for switching sound and silent modes and Lightning ports for charging and synchronization. The transition to more versatile USB-C has not happened. But in the asset of stereo speakers and protection against water and dust (IP68, diving to a depth of up to 6 meters for 30 minutes is allowed). "Bangs" remained in place.

The dual main cameras (12 MP + 12 MP) remain unchanged.

The main camera module has been improved. It can capture 49% more light on the sensor. A new stabilization mode, Action Mode, has been added for shooting video.

The processor for new products was Apple A15 Bionic. Both smartphones can work in networks of the fifth generation (5G), and also support wireless charging MagSafe.

Apple Watch 8, SE

There were no major changes in the design of the Apple Watch.
